Salad with salted salmon Salad "North Pole" looks very impressive on the festive table, besides it is also very tasty - salted red fish (not in vain because the salad is so called) is perfectly combined with potatoes, fresh cucumber, onions and other ingredients included in the composition of salad, which are laid out in layers, due to what it turns out to be airy and very gentle! The North Pole salad will surely appeal to your children, as amusing penguins of olives, carrots and egg squirrel and polar bear from the albumen-garlic paste look unusual and evoke interest in the dish, which immediately you want to try! Black sesame can easily be replaced with finely chopped olives or even poppy seeds! Try it, be sure that you will like it! I recommend this salad definitely!
Ingredients:- Pickled salmon 200 g
- Salt 1 pinch
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Strawed Salmon 3 g
- Sesame Black 15 g
- Mayonnaise 380 g
- Olives without seeds 120 g
- Red caviar 30 g
- Green onions 1 bunch
- Cucumber 1 pc.
- Carrot 3 pcs.
- Potatoes 3 pcs.
- Eggs of chicken 8 pcs.
- Cheese hard 80 g
- Garlic 1 clove
- Step 1 To make a salad we need salted salmon (or salmon, it will also be very tasty), fresh cucumber, pre-cooked potatoes, carrots and eggs, hard cheese, red caviar, pitted olives, green onions, black sesame (or poppy seeds) salted straw (or toothpicks for assembling penguins), mayonnaise, black pepper, salt, garlic.
- Step 2 With a piece of salt red fish cut the fillets, remove all the bones and cut into small cubes.
- Step 3 Cucumber and cut into thin strips (it is cut, and not three on a grater, so that the cucumber does not give juice).
- Step 4 We rub the hard cheese on a fine grater.
- Step 5 Pre-cooked and cooled potatoes are cleaned and rubbed on a coarse grater.
- Step 6 Chop the green onions.
- Step 7 2 carrots (boiled in advance, peeled and cooled) rubbed on a coarse grater. We leave one of the boiled carrots for decoration.
- Step 8 Separate the egg whites from the yolks - we rub the yolks on a fine grater.
- Step 9 Egg proteins are also rubbed on a fine grater, separate from the yolks (leaving a protein of 1 egg to decorate the salad).
- Step 10 Spread a little (less than half) of the grated egg whites in a separate bowl, add a tablespoon of mayonnaise and chopped chives, a little salt and black ground pepper. We cover the bowl with a film and while we put it in the fridge - in the future this mixture will become a polar bear!
- Step 11 Picking up the salad. On a flat dish, spread the first layer of potatoes.
- Step 12 Water the potato layer with mayonnaise, lightly sprinkle with black pepper.
- Step 13 Next, lay out the salted red fish.
- Step 14 Put the chopped green onion on the fish.
- Step 15 Watering with mayonnaise.
- Step 16 The next layer is the sliced cucumber.
- Step 17 We pour a thin trickle of mayonnaise, not much, slightly salt.
- Step 18 Next - a layer of grated boiled carrots.
- Step 19 Water the carrot layer with mayonnaise, but also, like the cucumber, not much.
- Step 20 On the carrots lay a layer of egg yolks.
- Step 21 Generously water the yolks with mayonnaise.
- Step 22 The last top layer is the hardened hard cheese. We trim the sides of the lettuce with a spatula, and lubricate it with mayonnaise.
- Step 23 Cover the sides of the salad with grated egg whites, lightly pressing / squeezing the protein layer with your hand to the salad to better hold. We put the salad in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, so that it is infused.
- Step 24 After an hour, let's dress up the salad. To decorate it should be just before the feed, so that the penguins and the bear do not flow, do not fall out and soften. So, we take from the refrigerator the previously laid rubbed squirrels with garlic and mayonnaise, mix the protein mass and sculpt the body of the bear (well, at least to make it look like it), put it on a salad.
- Step 25 From 1 olive tree we carve the nose, eyes and claws for the bear, and the egg whites from the egg whites. Mishka is ready!
- Step 26 Now we collect the penguins. For three penguins, we need 6 olives without pits, boiled carrots (there were 3, 2 rubbed into a salad, and 1 was left for decoration, that's what we take), straws, egg whites (from which the ears were cut out by the bear). Of these products, we cut out parts of the penguin, focusing on the photo (it is difficult to describe, of course, I think, and so it is clear).
- Step 27 We collect penguins, piercing the carrot "legs" with a straw, on which we set the "body" and "head" of the penguin.
- Step 28 Put the almost ready penguins in the company to the bear for a salad.
- Step 29 From a piece of carrot we cut out a small fish, make her eye from a piece of olive, lay out next to a bear.
- Step 30 The salad is almost ready, the matter is left for small.
- Step 31 Using a toothpick or a match, we paint the penguins with mayonnaise, the pupils are made from sesame seeds (it is black sesame ooh that is good for this purpose, although you can cut out small pupils from olives).
- Step 32 We decorate the salad with red caviar, sprinkle the sides with black sesame. The North Pole salad is ready! We serve the table and enjoy the taste and view!
