- bacon, sliced - 4 Slices
- red onion - 1 piece
- cloves of garlic - 2 pieces
- red pepper - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- peeled tomatoes - 900 Grams
- Salt and ground pepper - - To taste
- Italian pasta Orekkiete - 450 Grams
In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add bacon and fry until brown and crisp, about 4 minutes. Add onion and fry until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper, stir and fry until the fragrance appears, 1 minute. Add the tomatoes, cracking them, and season with salt and pepper. Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan with salted water, cook pasta for 1 minute less than that stated in the instructions. Drain the water from the pasta in a cup and set aside. Return the pasta in a saucepan. Add the sauce and water to the pasta, mix. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes. Serve the pasta with grated cheese and parsley.
