Postpartum Depression: Treatment

Postpartum depression: treatment is not such a rare problem. After all, the emotional balance of a young mother can be disturbed by factors such as mood swings, hormones, feelings for a baby, insecurity, fatigue.

The most important thing in this situation is not to succumb to melancholy, but to learn how to deal with it. Here are some simple tips on how to do this.

1. After childbirth, when a child is born, the family gets into trouble, hence the depression. In order not to feel "horse driven", distribute household duties with your husband.
2. It is very useful sometimes to leave the baby for dad and go for a walk, meet friends or just walk alone.
3. Talk about your fears and feelings! With friends who have already become moms, with her husband, and, of course, with her mom!
4. Do special exercises aimed at relaxation and positive. With the help of such exercises, the cure for depression will be faster. For example:
"If you're tired." Take a comfortable position for you, release all thoughts, close your eyes. Imagine a place where you would have liked to be at this point in time. As there is cozy, warm ... It can be a sea shore, a clearing in the forest, a parent's home - any place where fantasy will lead you! "Stay a little, dream, completely relax and gain strength. Perhaps the first time you will not go to relax completely, but in time you will learn and morally you will be easier.

- Take a sheet of paper and draw your depression in the form of a collage. Anyway, whether you know how to draw or not, put everything you need into the drawing. And then - burn, tear, while imagining that just the same disappears your bad mood.

- Go to the mirror and start laughing. Make up your faces, remember something funny. Force yourself to smile! Let the first and second time smile will be played - it's not a problem! You will see that for the third time it will already arise by itself!

- If you do not have anyone to talk about your problems, start a so-called "black" notebook, in which you will write down all the sore. Carry it always with you, and as soon as a "dark" thought creeps into your head, just throw it on paper.

And most importantly - do not despond! Depression after childbirth can and should be cured! After all, now you have such a wonderful incentive to live - your child! Share with him your warmth, caring, often think about good - and a smile to you will definitely come back!
