Recipe for a light summer dessert: apple crumble

Crumble - a pie with a crusty crust and juicy fruit filling - an ideal recipe for the summer season. Classic crumble is apple, but you can take any fruits: plums, peaches, mangoes, pears, apricots. Dough for the top layer is a sand crumb, which can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the freezer. Prepare just a few servings, because this crumble, no doubt, will become one of your favorite treats.

  1. The main condition for making a dough for grumbl is cold oil and tools. Send oil, cutting board, grater or knife to the freezer, bowl for a couple of hours. Then finely chop or grate the oil

  2. Combine 90 g of sugar, 110 g of flour and spices in a bowl, add crushed ice oil to them. Use the blade head in the food processor or mixer to knead a homogeneous dough. Or do it yourself, dipping your hands in cold water, wiping dry and stretching the mass

  3. Wrap the dough in a food film, flattening it slightly, and place it in the freezer for half an hour. Cramble can be stored at low temperatures for about a month

  4. Peel the apples, take out the core with the seeds, slice medium-sized slices and sprinkle with lemon juice so that the slices do not darken

  5. Combine 150 g of sugar and 25 g of flour, in this mixture roll slices. Put the apples almost to the top in the prepared form with dense layers.

  6. Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Rub the frozen crumble on top of the apples in the mold - the thickness of the layer should be at least a centimeter. Bake for about an hour. The finished dessert should have a crusty hard crust and a soft filling. Serve hot, decorating with ice cream balls
