Safety rules for the child

We have already considered that for your children your example is very important, and found out how to teach the child safety rules. In this part of the narrative, we will consider the first three situations in which the child must orient.

Child in apartment

When can you start leaving the baby alone in the apartment? From what age? The answer to this question can not be unambiguous, because there are a lot of circumstances that affect this: how much the child is independent, how old is he, how much can he trust. It is necessary to gradually leave a child alone in an apartment.

The basic rules that should be followed if the baby is left alone at home:

  1. Be sure to leave your phone number for the crumbs, on which it can call you at any time, as well as the number of services (ambulance, your job, neighbors, fire protection, mobile number, police).
  2. Always arrange small exams for the child on safety rules, only in this way you will be able to understand how potent it is.
  3. Hide all the items that he can get hurt.
  4. If your apartment is located on the first floor, then zashtoryte windows, and if someone will knock, then the child should loudly shout: "Daddy, come here!".
  5. Malyushyatelno must know what his name is, the names of parents, phone and home address.
  6. Always be an example for a child, never yourself neglect safety rules.
  7. Before leaving, check that the gas and water are switched off, as well as electrical appliances.
  8. Check that the windows are closed, close the front door well.
  9. If you leave in the evening, then in all rooms, turn on the light, so the kid will not be scared and the intruders will not climb into the house.
  10. When you return home, call the child and warn him not to be afraid. And when you call the door, the baby can open it only when you fully name who you are and how you will be called.
  11. Tablets and other medications go far. Matches, cutting and stabbing objects should also not lie in an ugly place. Remember that storing ammunition and weapons should only be legal and you must have the appropriate permit. Moreover, weapons should not be seen at all in the eyes of the child, it will be even better if he does not at all know that there is a weapon in the house, and if he knows, then only the adults need to know the keys and code.
  12. Teach your child the proper handling of the iron and the TV. Tell us that after using the iron you must necessarily turn off, you can not climb into sockets, and also put extraneous objects in them.
  13. Explain to the crumb that while he is in the apartment, then his safety is almost one hundred percent, but as soon as he opens the door, he can immediately become a victim of the criminal, even simply because he is not preparing for an attack, which means he can not act quickly and take something.

Children often make mistakes:

  1. As a rule, they do not think about the consequences, so they open the door boldly and go to the stranger who is standing on the staircase.
  2. When they leave the apartment, they do not lock it, justifying it by quickly returning.
  3. Quietly take the mail or throw out the trash when someone quietly approached from behind.
  4. They go in the elevator with strangers.

Parents, do not forget that the child is not yet so clever, so you can not always orient yourself and properly form your actions, so give him instructions, while in the meantime, keep a close eye on how the child performs them, for example:

  1. If you left the house and see strangers, suspicious people, then immediately return to the house.
  2. If you're going to leave the apartment, then first look in the peephole if there are strangers there.
  3. If you do not see anyone, but you hear voices, then wait a little until they leave the site.
  4. When you open the door and leave the apartment, always close the door behind you and take the key with you, so you will be sure that you will return to a clean apartment where you will not be looked for by a criminal.
  5. If a stranger suddenly appeared behind your back, immediately turn to him face. If he starts attacking, defend himself. You can apply everything that is at hand: a briefcase, keys, trash can, shoes, key chain and so on. Try to suddenly strike the attacker, and then run the screams: "Burn" or "Fire."
  6. Never look at the mail near the mailbox, go into the apartment, and then consider.
  7. If a stranger suggests that you go with him in the same elevator, do not agree, say that you will wait or that you live on the second floor, so you'll walk.
  8. If suddenly the criminal tries to close you a rosette, try to bite him, and if he pressed you face to face, then boldly bite him by the nose.

Communicating by phone

Now no one can not live without telephones, therefore it is impossible to communicate in another way. Very often the phone instead of means of protection turns into a "hook" for the offender. Therefore, the child should recall the basic rules for using the phone:

  1. When you pick up the phone, do not call the name of the person who is calling, because you can make a mistake, also do not say what your name is.
  2. Never tell anyone that you are not at home with anyone.
  3. When you invite friends or appoint a meeting, name the time when your parents will be at home.
  4. If someone asks for the address, then do not call, just ask for a call back later.
  5. If someone wants to draw you to an indecent talk, put the phone down and immediately tell Mom and Dad about it.
  6. Put the phone at home with the automatic number-fixer, so that employees of special services in case of any unpleasant situations can determine the number.

Spousal communication

The trust of children is often used by criminals. But we, too, are partly to blame for this. After all, children see how easily and easily we can talk with other strangers in the queue with chaos, in public transport and other public places, so theyrerepeat after us. In that case, how do you explain to the child that he should be cautious? To begin with, tell the baby that all people who are not relatives are outsiders to him, even if these people often go to your house.

When you leave the child with a key, do not attach it to your belt or hang around your neck, rather leave it at relatives or neighbors who live close or try to put it in the inner pocket.

Teach your child that you can not trust the keys to the apartment of the people who are wealthy, even if they appear to be your acquaintances. A child in no way should bring people of other people home, only if you find out this person and allowed the child to bring him.

From the kindergarten or from the school, the child should not leave the unfamiliar people, even if they refer to you.

If you do not get today to take him out of school or from a kindergarten, then be sure to inform him who will come for him and be sure to show this person how he looks in person or whether the child himself should know this person.

Be sure to warn the caregiver that today the child does not pick you up and tell who will take it.

If the child is taken away by strangers, then the educator should immediately contact the parents, and then call the police.

If your child is forced to take away, then he must attract the attention of other people, while shouting: "Help! I do not know these people! These are not my parents! "

If suddenly the baby was taken to the police, then he must necessarily say what his name is, his parents' phone number and home address.
