Nutty salad Many families often do not have fans of white chicken meat, so after preparing the broth and instant "destruction" of chicken legs, thighs and wings, the question often arises: what to do with the breasts? Do not throw it away! Of course not! Better use them to make a tasty and hearty salad with rice and tomatoes. This is just one of the options for using "non-moving" parts of chicken carcass, there are many more ways to prepare various dishes. But it is in the salad that they are especially tasty. The combination of rice and chicken is a classic of cooking, especially it is used in oriental dishes. Of course, it is not necessary to use boiled breasts. This salad is suitable for other parts of the bird, and even more delicious it will turn out if the meat is fried. If you do not like or can not eat spicy dishes, then you can do with some tomatoes without adding a hot sauce. But vinegar is desirable to add wine, or at worst, apple. Rice and chicken salted during their preparation, then the salad itself will not be salted anymore.
Ingredients:- Chicken breast 0.5 pcs.
- Long grain rice 250 g
- Tomatoes 3 pcs.
- Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Table vinegar 1 tbsp. l.
- Salt 2 pinch
- Sauce tomato spicy 1 tbsp. l.
- Parsley fresh 0.5 bunch
- Pepper fragrant 5 pcs.
- Bay leaf 1 pc.
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Step 1 For salad we need rice, tomatoes, chicken fillet and spices.
- Step 2 Boil the rice until cooked in well-salted water. Then discard in a colander and rinse with cold water.
- Step 3 Boil the chicken breast 30-40 minutes from the moment of boiling, adding a pinch of salt, bay leaves and sweet pepper to the water.
- Step 4 Prepare the dressing - combine the olive oil, wine vinegar and 1 tablespoon of hot tomato sauce.
- Step 5 Cut the boiled breast into cubes.
- Step 6 Wash tomatoes, peel and cut.
- Step 7 Connect the rice and dressing, mix well.
- Step 8 Add the chicken, tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste - mix everything, serve with a sprinkling of finely chopped parsley.
