This can be seen on the example of sandy Scottish cookies, which used to be baked for Christmas and New Year, and are now sold in almost all supermarkets and tourist shops in Scotland. Scottish biscuits can be found in our stores called Shortbreads, it is popular, but it is quite expensive, although there is nothing supernatural in its composition. If you understand what kind of cookie is at stake, then for sure you will want to learn how to cook it. There is nothing easier. The only condition is that the oil you use for baking should be of very high quality, and certainly it is not worth replacing it with margarine. Scottish cookies are not very sweet, but they are high in calories, and you can serve it not only for tea or coffee, but even Scotch whiskey, of course. Try also adding a spicy flavor to the liver, adding a couple of tablespoons of cognac or rum to the dough.
Ingredients:- Flour, wheat 220 g
- Flour, corn 30 g
- Butter 150 g
- Sugar powder 120 g
- Salt 1 pinch
- Step 1 For the preparation of cookies we take wheat flour, corn flour, sugar powder and soft butter.
- Step 2 Combine both types of flour, add the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt - mix everything well.
- Step 3 Then add chopped softened butter.
