- sugar - 5 items. spoons
- Strawberries - 4 Cups
- lemon juice - 1 st. a spoon
- vodka - 2 items. spoons
- black pepper - 1/8 teaspoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 st. a spoon
- leaves of basil - 1 st. a spoon
To make sugar syrup, mix 3/4 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Mix half the strawberries in a blender with sugar syrup, lemon juice and vodka, if used, to a consistency of puree. Wipe the mashed potatoes through a sieve. Pour the mixture into a square shape. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours. Stir granite with a fork and freeze for another hour. Then mix again. For 30 minutes before serving, cut the remaining strawberries lengthwise and put them in a bowl. Add the remaining tablespoon of sugar, pepper, and vinegar. Stir and add the basil. Divide the granite into portions, decorate with strawberries and serve.
