No one has ever imagined that an adult child prodigy will not live to see his 28th birthday. Nika Turbina, whose name was 20 years ago was on everyone's lips killed herself, jumping off the window of the fifth floor. Nika Turbina: not to forget ... She did not like to be forgotten, she hated loneliness.
This was not the first attempt of a talented girl to commit suicide. A few years ago she was already falling, ostensibly accidentally, from a window, also, by the way, the fifth floor. And if the previous time, the fate was more favorable to the girl, then this time Nika crashed to death. But was it suicide, or did the girl decide to play with all the evil joke?
In 1978, little Nick was seriously ill - she had asthma. The girl did not get out of bed, mother and grandmother took turns on duty at her bed. Nika frightened them with constant requests to write down certain lines of poetry, so as not to forget. The poem of the child was more piercing, frightening, gloomy. Friends said that the girl read other people's poetry and now they just remember, Nika herself assured her family that it was God himself who speaks it with his lips.
Perhaps the literary talent in a little Nick Turbina woke up from the fact that from early childhood her mother read poems of "serious" poets: Mandelstam, Pasternak, Akhmatova. Since infancy, Nick has heard poetic lines. Nicky's mother, too, was an outstanding personality - an artist who never realized her talent. Grandfather Nicky, the famous Crimean writer Anatoly Nikanorkin, often collected in his house in Yalta writers, poets and writers who came to rest from Moscow. The girl listened to their conversations from an early age, took part in conversations. One day, Nicky's mother asked grandfather to help her to publish her daughter's poems in Moscow publications. This idea, in fact, was absurd, because the psyche of the child is still very weak, and Nicky's poems were so imbued with sorrow, longing that did not resemble children's creativity. Nevertheless, soon in the Moscow publications appeared the first publication of Nika Turbina, a girl-child prodigy. Then in the newspapers they began to print about Nika herself. At the age of 9, Nicky Turbina's first book, Drafts, was published, which was translated into 12 languages. The book was a success. The introductory word for the book is written by Evgeny Evtushenko.
This was the beginning of Nicky Turbina's fascinating non-children's life, which seemed like a play to the poetess. Nick was taken around the world. She went on stage and read her poems in a serious and very childish voice, looking into the hall with the wise gaze of a formed personality.
In the year 85, Nika was awarded the most prestigious award - the golden lion. Little Nika broke the statuette, wanting to check whether it really is made of gold. The lion turned out to be plaster ...
Then Nika lived in Moscow, she studied at the most ordinary school. Her mother remarried and gave birth to her daughter Masha. Nike began to miss the mother's heat. In her poems, the motives for loneliness, for her mother's longing, were earlier.
In 1990, Nick was invited to study in Switzerland. The invitation came from a Swiss professor of medical sciences. Soon Nick married him. She was not embarrassed by the age difference - the doctor was at that time 76 years old. But this act deeply shocked the relatives of Nicky. Family life soon bore a young girl, because the doctor spent days in the hospital, and she missed one. This boredom led to the fact that Nick began to drink. And later she fled to Russia.
In 1994, Nika entered the Institute of Culture, in which it is accepted without examinations. Alena Galich becomes her favorite teacher and subsequently a friend. Alena Galich speaks about Nick, that she had a striking, fatal appearance, but a disturbed psyche, poor coordination and unimportant memory. Nick repeatedly wrote Alena "promises" that she will no longer drink. But everything was repeated again and again. At the end of the first year, Nika went to Yalta to her boyfriend Kostya, and did not return to the exams. To recover in the institute it turned out only to the correspondence department. Nevertheless, with the bones of long relations did not work out, he soon married another girl, explaining this by the fact that he needs a serious, adult wife, and not the eternal child of Nick.
In May 1997, Nika made an attempt to commit suicide for the first time. She was drunk and at that moment was with a man. She hung on the balcony, wishing to check herself, at the same moment sobered up, but could not restrain herself. Nick saved a miracle - falling from the fifth floor, she managed to get hold of the tree, which significantly softened the fall. Public attention was again shown to Nike.
After this act, Alain Galich began to work so that Nick was put on a course of treatment in an American clinic, but Nicky's mother took her to Yalta. In Yalta, Nicky once had a terrible violent fit, after which she was put in a local mental hospital. She was rescued from there by a former friend of Kostya and all the same Alena Galich.
Nika hated being alone. She could not live alone, so her apartment was always full of people. The last 4 years of her life she lived with a man named Sasha. Sasha drank with her, but now he admits that Nick has changed his whole life. One day Sasha went to the store, and Nick waited for him, sitting on the fifth floor window, hanging his legs down. When the man came into the room, she unsuccessfully turned and fell down. It was not suicide, but this time the fate was to Nick is not supportive. At the funeral of Nicky and at cremation, no one was present. Mother and grandmother were seriously ill. The girl, most afraid of loneliness, her last path alone. One of the most unusual "planets" went out. Such is life, such is fate.
