Toast with strawberries and mint I suggest to prepare bright, juicy, refreshing toasts with aromatic strawberries and fragrant mint. This dish is perfect for Sunday lunch. I used a fresh loaf of bread. If there is a pastry bun or baguette, then you can use them, pre-moistened with milk. Butter is characterized by the fact that it starts burning quickly enough to avoid enough to add 1-2 tsp. vegetable oil on a frying pan. Baton should be put in the melted butter with one side and immediately turned over to the other, so that the oil during frying is not absorbed only on one side.
Ingredients:- Strawberry 200 g
- Peppermint fresh 20 g
- Loaf of 160 g
- Butter 20 g
- Sugar 3 tsp.
- Step 1 Prepare strawberries, butter, mint, slices of a loaf, sugar.
- Step 2 Peel the strawberries from the stems, rinse and cut into small pieces.
- Step 3 Mint rinsed, the leaves are separated and finely chopped. Add the mint to the strawberry. Add sugar.
- Step 4 Stir.
- Step 5 Fry the loaf on both sides in butter.
- Step 6 Strawberry-mint stuffing put on slices of a loaf. Serve croutons immediately after preparation.
