- vegetable oil for frying - 1 glass
In a clean glass or metal bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until thick. Set aside. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, soda, sugar, egg yolks, melted butter and buttermilk and beat until smooth. Gently enter the egg whites. Put 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in each cavity of the mold for an apple-tree and put it on the fire until it warms up. Pour approximately 2 tablespoons of dough into each mold. As soon as the edges start to appear, you need to rotate quickly (Danish cooks use knitting needles, but the fork is also suitable). Continue to cook, turning, so as not to burn.
