- sugar - 1/2 cup
- cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoons
- apricots - 6 pieces (cut in half, pitted)
- extract of vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- orange juice - 1/4 cup
- For sauce: condensed milk with sugar - 1/2 cup
- sugar - 2 items. spoons
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix apricots, vanilla and orange juice. Add the sugar mixture and mix. Put the apricots in a baking dish down. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the apricots are soft, shaking the mold once or twice. Meanwhile make the sauce. In a small saucepan, mix the condensed milk and sugar, cook over medium heat until the mixture is reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Arrange 3 halves of apricots on each of the 4 plates. Pour the apricot juice from the mold. Pour 1 tablespoon of cooked sauce each serving. Serve dessert warm or at room temperature.
