Pete's eastern cake is a famous fresh cake from the Middle East. The same name also has a Greek cake, but it is flat, while the Arabian pita is inflated as a ball, hollow inside, when cutting it forms a pocket, into which it is convenient to put a variety of fillings. Traditionally, pita is served with hummus, falafel, etc., and Europeans are adapted for a variety of snacks with salads, pates, meat and fish. The technology of baking pita is special, in our conditions it is impossible to repeat it, but European housewives have found a way of baking pita in the oven, which produces cakes almost similar to traditional ones. The main thing in this method is the high temperature, and the dough is used yeast.
