Baked pies with rice and eggs Everyone has his own attitude to pies and his opinion about whether there are them or not. In addition, in our time all sorts of homemade cakes have ceased to be everyday food. It is rather a symbol of a holiday or a special housekeeping of the hostess, a specialty, prepared only on special occasions. Unfortunately, while professional cooks invent new recipes especially for airy and bizarrely decorated confectionery wonders, ordinary pies gradually disappear from our menu. Of course, this dish can not be called very useful and easy to prepare, but together with pies our Slavic traditions also disappear. But that's not the point. Pies are just very tasty. Today, not every adult woman knows how to bake pies, and literally a hundred years ago it was mandatory for every young girl. The very next day after the wedding, she had to treat guests and new relatives with her own cooking pies, and by how well they had done, they judged her ability to become a good housewife. Today this is not the case, but if you learn how to bake delicious homemade cakes, you can enjoy not only their taste, but also the admiration and gratitude of their households and guests.
Ingredients:- Yeast, fresh, 25 g
- Water boiled 0.25 tbsp.
- Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 1 tsp.
- Kefir 1 tbsp.
- Eggs chicken 2 pcs.
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 100 ml
- Wheat flour 6 tbsp.
- Long grain rice 0.5 tbsp.
- Eggs chicken 5 pcs.
- Fresh dill 0.5 bunch
- Butter 10 g
- Step 1 To prepare pies will need eggs, flour, yeast, kefir, vegetable oil and for the filling - chicken eggs, rice, butter and dill. All products must be room temperature.
- Step 2 For the spoons combine yeast, warm boiled water, a pinch of sugar and 1 tbsp. l. flour.
- Step 3 Mix everything well until smooth and leave to stand for 20-30 minutes.
- Step 4 Then add 1 cup of kefir, 1 egg, 1 tsp to the spoon. salt, 60 ml of vegetable oil and a little flour.
- Step 5 Gradually adding flour, kneading the dough, it should well fall behind the hands. Flour is approximately 5-6 glasses. The ready dough should be left to stand for 50-70 minutes at room temperature, it should increase in volume by 2 times.
- Step 6 In the meantime, prepare the filling. Rinse rice, pour a glass of water, salt well and boil until cooked.
- Step 7 4-5 eggs hard boiled (dip eggs in cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes from the time of boiling). Cook boiled eggs and cut into cubes.
- Step 8 A small bunch of dill to wash, dry and finely chop.
- Step 9 Combine the boiled rice, eggs, dill and add a little butter - mix everything well (the ratio of eggs and rice should be approximately the same, but you can vary to taste).
- Step 10 Grease the working surface with vegetable oil and form the billets (if the dough turns liquid and does not form, add a little more flour to the desired consistency). It turns out roughly 20 pieces.
- Step 11 From the dough, form a cake and put the filling in the center.
- Step 12 Carefully and firmly secure the edges, forming a patty.
- Step 13 Grate slightly with vegetable oil and lay pies on it with a "seam" down at a distance of 1-1.5 cm from each other. 1 whisk the egg with a fork and grease the patties so that they turn out to be ruddy during the baking process.
- Step 14 Bake in the preheated oven to 180 ° C for 25-35 minutes until rusty.
