For a significant part of the year, people limited themselves to fatty foods, meat, animal products, adhering to fasting. At that time, they consumed vegetables, cereals, nuts and dried fruits much more than usual, thereby helping their body to clear the accumulated slag. I suggest preparing a tasty and healthy dish - beet-nut balls. Such an appetizer is prepared easily and simply, and should be enjoyed by adults and children alike!
Ingredients:- Beetroot 200 g
- Walnut 250 g
- Garlic 3 denticles
- Mayonnaise 80 g
- Salt 1 pinch
- Water 100 ml
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Wheat Flour 1.5 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 100 ml
- Salt 1 pinch
- Mustard 0.5 tsp.
- Sugar 0.5 tsp.
- Step 1 For the preparation of beet-nut beads, we need beets, garlic, walnuts, salt, lean mayonnaise.
- Step 2 Nuts chop.
- Step 3 Boil the beet, peel and rub on a grater with small holes.
- Step 4 Add to the beet mass passed through the garlic press.
- Step 5 Stir in 200 g of crushed nuts.
- Step 6 Add lean mayonnaise. Salt to taste.
- Step 7 Gather a beet mass with a teaspoon and roll it in chopped nuts, forming balls.
- Step 8 Before serving, hold the balls for 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator.
