Breakfast cereals, defects

To begin with, we will discuss with you the other side of the action of breakfast cereals on the human body. Is it considered that breakfast cereals are truly healthy food? All breakfast cereals are an excellent source of energy. In addition to carbohydrates, they also contain minerals and vitamins, especially the high content of iron in them.

If possible, try to stop the consumption of products from sugar. It is necessary to disaccustom and your children sprinkle dry breakfast cereals. It will be better if you add a handful of raisins and sliced fresh fruit.

In some types of ready breakfast cereals, which are cooked, the salt content exceeds several times the established norms.
Breakfasts from uncooked grains or muesli are the best source of fiber, but also do not forget that there are also refined breakfasts in which the fiber content is practically absent. And the use of such types of breakfast cereals, not only you will not bring any benefit, and perhaps that will have a negative impact on your health.

The best porridges, which will undoubtedly benefit your body from whole grains, pearl barley, buckwheat, oat-flakes. Exception - rice groats, except for starch in them, there is practically nothing. And if you rub rice into flour and make it dry, then it will affect the deposition of fats much more than rice porridge.
It is best to eat simple wheat or oat flakes for breakfast. In the porridge you can add, if necessary, berries for the season or a grated apple, which will make the dish and tasty and more beautiful.

Defects of breakfast cereals?
Too much salt, sugar, and fat contain breakfast cereals from well-known companies like Nestle and Kellogs.
The research associations of consumers in Britain compared the contents of a hundred brands of breakfast cereals, which are very popular in the country. As a result, it was found that 85 species contained a large amount of sugar, in 40 species there was an excessive salt content, and in 9 there was a lot of fat.

Many of these breakfasts were meant for children. Also, a study showed that in 13 grades, hydrogenated vegetable oil or fat is used. Foods that contain hydrogenated fat or oil are a source of saturated fats, which raise blood cholesterol levels, which increases the risk of heart disease.

The scientists also found that in the ready-to-eat breakfast bars, a high level of saturated fat and all eleven brands that were tested provided much less fiber and energy than a plate of dry breakfast.
In our society, there is an opinion that breakfast cereals are the standard of healthy eating. But, unfortunately, such a study proves the opposite. The fact is that large producers of ready-to-eat breakfasts add a huge amount of salt and sugar, which several times exceed the established norms and, of course, negatively affect our body.

List of food standards for dry breakfast:
- a lot of sugar - per 100 grams of product / 10 grams of sugar;
- salt a lot - per 100 grams of product / 1.25 grams of salt;
- a lot of fat - per 100 grams of product / 20 grams of fat;

It is necessary to choose breakfast cereals, which are enriched with vitamins. Ready breakfasts, enriched with vitamins - the best source of vitamin B12 and complex carbohydrates, with which the body is stored for the whole day with energy. But it's also necessary to check the labels on the boxes, because some brands of breakfast cereals contain a lot of sugar and salt, as discussed above.
