Cake without baking from dry bread Since my childhood I was taught to take care of bread. The hand does not rise to throw dry bread. Now, of course, baking sometimes does not meet norms, and bread, especially loaves, dry up very quickly. From a dry loaf it is possible to make croutons, to pound it on crackers for cutlets, to add in forcemeat. And you can cook cakes. Those same, long forgotten, under the strange name of "Potato". There are many different recipes for preparing these pastries, we will prepare them from absolutely dried white loaves. Additives to the test can vary from preferences. Our cake resembles a young potato, and, accordingly, it will be a round shape. The cake is light, not greasy, pleasant to taste. You can cook it very quickly.
Ingredients:- Loaf of 300 g
- Milk 200 ml
- Sugar 1 tbsp.
- Butter 100 g
- Cocoa powder 3 tbsp. l.
- Walnut 50 g
- Almond 50 g
- Sugar vanilla 4 g
- Step 1 To make "Potato" cakes you need to take: well-dried loaves, milk, sugar, butter, cocoa, walnuts and almonds.
- Step 2 Crush the loaf in small crumbs in a blender.
- Step 3 Fry and chop the nuts.
- Step 4 Combine the dry mixture of biscuits and nuts. Mix.
- Step 5 Sugar and vanillin dissolve in milk. Boil the milk with sugar. Cool it down.
- Step 6 Cocoa, crackers, nuts, soft butter and warm milk with sugar to connect. Mix well.
- Step 7 Pour the balls out of the dough. Roll them in breadcrumbs.
- Step 8 Put into the freezer for 15 minutes. Take out and again roll cakes in cocoa (to taste in sugar powder, in coconut shavings, in chopped nuts, in chocolate crumbs). Serve chilled for dessert.
