Chicken in paprika Paprikas is a dish of Hungarian cuisine, it is cooked preferably from chicken, preferably not young, so that the taste of the prepared dish is more saturated. For paprikasha use red mellow sweet pepper fleshy varieties. The dish turns fat, nourishing, perfect for a lunch meal! Paprikash is served with dumplings or pasta.
Ingredients:- Chicken 0.5 kg
- Salt 2 tsp.
- Sunflower refined oil 75 ml
- Sour cream 3 tbsp. l.
- Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
- Paprika sweet ground 1 g
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Onions 1 pc.
- Sweet pepper 4 pcs.
- Pepper black ground 0.5 tsp.
- Step 1 For the preparation of paprikasha we will need: sweet pepper, chicken, onion, garlic, sour cream, refined vegetable oil, flour, ground paprika, salt, black pepper.
- Step 2 Salted chicken, pepper and fry until golden brown in a small amount of refined oil.
- Step 3 While the chicken is fried, chop the sweet pepper, peeled from the pedicels, internal partitions and seeds, strips of the same size, not finely.
- Step 4 Onions are also cut into strips.
- Step 5 When the chicken is fried, spread it and cover with foil to keep the heat.
- Step 6 In a frying pan, where the chicken is fried, put onion and pepper, lightly fry.
- Step 7 When the pepper becomes soft, return the chicken to the pan. Stew under a lid for about 30 minutes on low heat, periodically turning over.
- Step 8 Next, add crushed garlic.
- Step 9 Pour grinded papika, if necessary, dosalivayem. Stir and stew for about 10 minutes.
- Step 10 We divorce the sour cream with flour, add it to the paprika, stir to prevent lumps, continue to stew for about five minutes.
- Step 11 As a result, chicken meat should easily move away from the bones.
