In addition to peas, the main stuff is potatoes, aroma and taste of the soup gives spicy herbs - thyme, basil and oregano. Ingredients:- Frozen peas 350 g
- Potatoes 2 pcs.
- Butter 20 g
- Water 2 l
- Basil dry 0.5 tsp.
- Thyme (Thyme) dry 0.5 tsp.
- Oregano dry 0.5 tsp.
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Pepper red ground 0.25 tsp.
- White pepper ground 1 pinch
- Sugar 0.5 tsp.
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
- Almonds 10 g
- Step 1 To make soup, take frozen green peas, potatoes, butter, almonds, spices and sour cream for serving.
- Step 2 In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the butter and fry the spices: thyme, basil, oregano, ground black pepper, red and white - about 1 minute.
- Step 3 Then add the coarsely chopped peeled potatoes, add water and cover with a lid, cook for 10 minutes, until the potatoes are ready.
- Step 4 Then add the peas and cook for 5 minutes without covering the lid, until the peas are ready.
- Step 5 Finish the soup with a blender to a homogeneous creamy consistency.
- Step 6 Then add lemon juice and sugar to the soup, if desired, also add salt and pepper to taste, if necessary, heat up the soup. Serve the soup with lightly roasted almonds and sour cream.
