- squash (about 650 g), cut into crescents - 3 pieces

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Lay the baking tray with aluminum foil and oil. Put the pieces of squash on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle evenly half of the sugar. Bake until the sugar has melted, about 5 minutes. Using forceps, flip the pieces. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle evenly with the remaining sugar. Bake until soft for about 20 minutes. After cooking, the squash can be stored covered at room temperature for up to two hours.
