In order to prepare lecho from tomatoes, you first need to "take care" of the main ingredient of our lecho - tomatoes. Rinse them, pour boiling water, peel and cut out the stems. Then prepare lecho in the following way. I present a step-by-step recipe. 1. Peel the tomatoes in semi-rings. 2. Peel the Bulgarian pepper and cut into strips. 3. Add to the pot half of the tomatoes needed for lecho (1.5 kg), the Bulgarian pepper and let through the press or finely chopped garlic. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. 4. Add the remaining tomatoes and cook over low heat for half an hour. 5. While lecho is boiled, sterilize the jars. 6.
