Moreover, this is one of the most promising, dynamically developing segments of the world market. And special hopes are placed on the countries of Asia and the Middle East, in particular, China, as well as Brazil and Russia.


Conclusion : in the near future in the beauty industry, men's emancipation is coming, and our men - modern standards of beauty will become full-fledged consumers of previously traditionally feminine "beautiful" products, services and ... magazines. In our country, according to the marketing research agency, the market for men's cosmetics and perfumery is now more than $ 600 million, and continues to grow every year: in 2003, it increased by 15% (again, it's a lot!). The most curious thing is that it's not just shampoos, shower gels and shaving foams, as we expected, but matting napkins, hair coloring agents, gels from circles under the eyes. Anti-age-serums and even decorative cosmetics are all what we, the women, used to alone use.


Men - modern standards of beauty in Europe make up about 35% of the clientele of beauty salons, and in Moscow -10%. And there is a strong floor not only for haircuts, but also for massages, manicure-pedicure, hair treatment and ... eyelash coloring and hair removal! Moreover, contrary to the widespread among us women, opinion, men - modern standards of beauty easily come to the salon themselves or agree that the spouse will write down for some useful procedure. And much less for the first time are under the female "convoy".
