Making up the menu for kids, I took into account the features of baby food for up to three years, tried to make it as varied, useful and interesting for moms as for small children.
So, I present to your attention a weekly menu for a child from one year to two, consisting of six meals a day. Ask why so many? If you think about it, it's not much, but just right. The nutrition of a growing energy source "(so I, loving, call my fidget-daughter) should consist of the first breakfast, the second breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and a" light snack "before going to bed. Then there will be no overeating, and the baby will be full and happy.
The approximate time for eating is as follows:
- 8.00 - first breakfast;
- 10.00 - second breakfast;
- 12.00-12.30 - lunch;
- 15.00-15.30 - afternoon snack;
- 18.00-18.30 - dinner;
- 21.00 - "reinforcements" for the night.

Recommendations for making menus for children aged one to two
When preparing baby food, you need to pay attention to the fact that all food should be crushed in such a way that the baby was comfortable to use it. Since, the chewing teeth in the second year of life only grow and develop, the baby is not yet able to properly chew food. But do not overdo it! Excessive grinding of food with a blender impairs the taste of the prepared dish, and also inhibits the formation of a masticatory skill in a child of the second year of life.
The above diet is only indicative. His main goal is to help her mother orient herself in organizing a balanced diet for a small child. The diet should also be adjusted to your personal schedule. For example, if the baby wakes up not at seven o'clock, but at half past nine in the morning, then it will not be at breakfast, of course, at 8.00.
Ensure that you also take adequate fluids. Perhaps the baby will need to drink some water. Therefore, offer water to the baby several times a day. In addition, it will be useful to prepare herbal drinks (chamomile tea, rose petals, raspberry, currant tea, etc.).
Remember, the menu for the child from one year to two years should be rich in vitamins, both in the summer and in the winter. Therefore, it is advisable to make the harvesting of fruits and vegetables from the summer, freezing them in the freezer. If in the summer we can give the child as a salad cucumbers and tomatoes, then in winter it is advisable to boil the beets, carrots, potatoes and cook the vegetable assortment. Do not force the child to eat the whole cooked portion, the kid knows exactly how much he needs. It is better to dope a little later than to overeat. If the baby is hungry, he will definitely let you know about it.
Enjoy your favorite daughters and sons!
