Roll with coconut chips I suggest for the New Year, except for other sweets, to prepare a sweet roll without baking. The basis of shortcake, cocoa and chopped walnuts in such a roll perfectly matches with a gentle oil-coconut cream. Having spent a minimum of effort, time and money on preparing such a roll, you will get an excellent dessert, which will take its rightful place among other sweets on the festive table!
Ingredients:- Biscuit shortbread cookies 150g
- Water 100 ml
- Sugar 100 g
- Cocoa powder 2 tbsp. l.
- Coconut shavings 80 g
- Butter 100 g
- Sugar powder 80 g
- Walnut 50 g
- Step 1 To prepare a roll of biscuits and coconut chips we will need shortbread cookies, coconut chips, sugar, sugar powder, cocoa, butter, walnuts.
- Step 2 Grind the walnuts and shortbread cookies.
- Step 3 Add cocoa, stir.
- Step 4 Pour sugar into the water and bring to a boil. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Step 5 In a mixture of nuts, biscuits and cocoa, add sugar syrup. Maybe you do not need all the syrup! Add the syrup only until the dough is formed from the mixture.
- Step 6 The finished dough should become plastic, but not wet.
- Step 7 For a coconut cream, beat the softened butter and sugar powder.
- Step 8 Add coconut chips to the whipped oil mixture. Shake again.
- Step 9 Cover the board with food film. Put the dough in the center.
- Step 10 Cover the top again with a food film. Roll the dough between two layers of the film to a thickness of 0.5 cm.
- Step 11 Remove the top film. Flatten the chocolate dough to make a rectangle. Top with coconut cream. Align.
- Step 12 With the help of the film roll the roll.
- Step 13 Fix it with a food film and send it to the freezer for 30 minutes.
