Heat the grill to a high temperature. Plant meat on 4 skewers and lemon, 5 pieces of lamb and 2 slices of lemon on each. Arrange the skewers in a non-metallic dish. In a small bowl, whip with butter, lemon juice and garlic. Pour marinade skewers. Leave to stand for at least 5 minutes or cover and put in the refrigerator at night. Season with salt and pepper.
