The best age for the birth of a child

Over the years it has been assumed that the best age for the birth of a child is from 18 to 25 years. Women older than 25 years were called late-onset and such births were considered unfavorable.

The birth of a child under the age of 18 was also considered to be early and untimely. And not in vain, the best age of 18-25 years, is designed by nature itself. First of all, at this age the ovaries are working at full strength, and the body has not yet managed to accumulate a bouquet of chronic diseases. Childlessness and miscarriages are much less common. Childbirth also passes easier, naturally. The muscular tone of the uterus is still high, and the body quickly recovers after childbirth. Until recently, a woman gave birth to her first child at an average of 21 years.

Today, the situation has radically changed, and the average age of a child is 25 years. Increasingly, women postpone marriage and childbirth for a later period of 30-35 years. Some want to first get education, make a career, live for themselves. For others, material well-being plays a very important role, and some manage to meet their ideal partner to create a family and give birth to children by the age of 30.

Opinions about how to give birth at the best are divided. American scientists, for example, say the best age for a child is 34 years old. At this age, a woman, as a rule, is already "firmly on her feet". Also, growing up, women begin to closely monitor their health, and have a permanent partner. In addition, it has already been proven that pregnancy and the birth of a baby positively influence the body of a woman, rejuvenating it. But there are also "pitfalls". Having decided to give birth to a child over the age of 35, a woman may face the following troubles:

First: the reproductive system begins to fade and it becomes much more difficult and not always possible to become pregnant. The probability of infertility is high. Over the years, women accumulate the number of diseases that are transmitted, sometimes asymptomatic;

Secondly: the number of spontaneous miscarriages increases due to hormonal changes in the body and the existing chronic diseases in a woman. If a woman has such diseases as hypertension or kidney problems, then there is a high probability of gestosis (toxicosis of the second half of pregnancy);

Thirdly: for women over 35, it is much harder to give birth, due to a decrease in the elasticity of soft tissues and the slow opening of the birth canal. At this age, give birth by caesarean section.

And finally, most importantly, with age, the risk of giving birth to an unhealthy child increases, the risk of such chromosomal diseases as Down's syndrome is great, for example.

And yet you should not be afraid to give birth after 30. Today, medicine has taken a step forward. Miscarriages and gestosis have learned to detect and treat when early signs appear. In late pregnancy, a woman is sent to the hospital in advance, the method of delivery is chosen. In order for a child to be born healthy, it is necessary that a late pregnancy is planned. It is advisable for a woman to take tests with her husband for infection and be treated several months before the conception of the child. Also, the risk of a sick child's birth is reduced to almost zero if a woman is on time to register with a woman's consultation and undergoes necessary examinations from early pregnancy. In fairness, I must say that these precautions apply to all women who want to become pregnant, regardless of age.

In any case, the choice of the best age for the birth of a child remains with women.
