How to marinate a chicken for a grill

Have bought a chicken for cooking in the oven, but want to make the meat as gentle as possible? For this, there are a number of different versions of the marinade and the preparation procedure.

Preparation for marinade, tips:

  1. Rinse the whole carcass or part of it under cold running water, removing the remains of the packaging and secretions;
  2. Wipe the surface well with a paper towel so that there is no moisture left;
  3. Prepare a container that is suitable for the size of the whole bird or the pieces you have chosen for marinating. Too big dishes will not work, then the marinade will not soak up the meat, and too small will simply not contain the chicken or its pieces. Avoid using metal containers or pans, the pickle can enter into a chemical reaction with the metal, which will change the taste.
  4. One of the options for a marinating container is a normal package or food film, which is tightly wrapped by a bird with a pickling liquid;
  5. Marinate should be in the refrigerator and at least one hour. If you want to get the best result, then wait 4-5 hours or do leave meat at night;
  6. Ingredients for the marinade are interchangeable, so in the absence of any one, you can always find another one in its place. This is all the charm;

  3. We spread the bird on a baking tray and rub it with pepper and salt inside and skin outside. In a separate container add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and seasoning for chicken, stir and wipe the carcass;
  4. We set the "grill" mode (if any) and bake at 230 degrees for 20 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 200 degrees and leave to bake for another 40 minutes. If the grill is not, then turn on the upper and lower heat, while the temperature and cooking time will not change;

After our grilled bird is ready, let it stand for ten minutes in an open oven, after which we cut it into pieces, add a little greens (if desired) and proceed with the meal.
