The concept of "family" is in fact very versatile. And what seems ridiculous and unconventional for some, for others - the absolute norm. There are many forms and types of families in the world, but the main types of marital family relations are set out below.
Traditional marriage (civil or ecclesiastical)
This form of marriage most of all protects the rights and freedoms of children, but contains a huge number of prohibitions for both spouses. Church marriage or wedding is a special Christian sacrament, in which the spouses receive God's grace for family happiness, as well as for the blessed birth and upbringing of children. Until the beginning of the 20th century, church marriage was the only type that had any legal consequences. The wedding is usually preceded by an engagement - a public announcement of others about their decision to marry.
Unregistered marriage or cohabitation
Such a marriage (we mistakenly call it "civilian") differs from simple friendship through joint management of the economy. Under the new legislation, it entails the same responsibility as a registered marriage. Although from the point of view of the right for such relations it is logical to use the term "cohabitation". Civil unregistered relations began to be called for the first time in the 19th century in the Russian Empire, since the only form of marriage officially recognized, then, was a church marriage. People who cohabited without a marriage in the church preferred to call their relationship a civil marriage.
A time-limited family
Some prefer to marry for a time, for example, for three years. Marriage after this period is automatically considered to be terminated. After that, the former spouses weigh the results and decide whether to part or not, or to continue together. Supporters of this form of marriage proceed from the fact that people tend to change, that eternal love does not exist, that passionate sexual attachment will disappear sooner or later, and spouses in a few years are already uninteresting for each other. So is it worth it to torment yourself and torment your partner if life slowly turns into torture? Usually such people, as soon as the time of marriage ends, are ready and open for regular meetings, sexual relations and new love. People who enter such a marriage, as a rule, do not think about the extension of the family, or about property, acquired together.
Seasonal marriage is a fairly rare form. It is chosen by people of a specific rational warehouse, controlling the slightest changes in their own lives, or people with heightened active sexual behavior. Over time, seasonal marriages either become traditional, or disintegrate.
Breaking marriage
This is when the spouses live together, but allow the opportunity sometimes to leave for some time. Reasons can be different: fatigue from each other or the need to write a dissertation. In such a family, traveling is not a tragedy, but a norm. It is much more difficult to take a ride, which is connected with love hobbies. He sometimes leads to the rupture of such marital relations. Supporters of an interrupted marriage appreciate their freedom and need a personal space and time "for themselves."
Family meeting
Spouses are officially registered, but live separately from each other, each at home. There are several times a week. When children appear, they are raised, as a rule, by the mother. The father sometimes deals with children at will or when there is time. This type of marriage is becoming more popular in developed countries. Despite the unusual for us form, it is the so-called "guest" marriages according to statistics, the longest. They rarely end in divorce.
Muslim family
Traditional in all respects a family where only a husband has the right to have several wives. To change a woman is tantamount to suicide. Although in the modern world is not always treason blamed by the beating in public in the square. But divorce will most likely be inevitable. Children always stay with their father.
Swedish family
An ordinary family, of which there are several men and women at once. It is wrong to think that their relationship is based only on sex. It is something like a small commune, bound by friendship and the conduct of a common economy.
Open family
The type of marriage in which the spouses admit to some extent the hobbies and connections of a partner outside the family.
