Beautiful three-dimensional snowflake with your hands - step by step instruction

One of the simplest options for bulk snowflakes. To make it, you only need one sheet of plain white paper. If you want a brighter decor, then simply replace the white sheet with colored half-cardboard or decorative paper with New Year's patterns and pictures.

Necessary materials:

Main stages:

  1. To make a beautiful volumetric snowflake you will need a sheet of white paper. Cut out the square from it. The larger its dimensions, the snowflake of paper will be larger.

  2. We bend the square along the diagonals.

  3. Then bend diagonally again.

  4. A simple pencil outlines the lines of the future pattern.

  5. We will scissor along the lines and get the cut off upper corner of the triangle.

  6. On both sides of the workpiece, we will mark with a pencil two curved lines to the center.

  7. We make scissors cuts along the pencil lines.

  8. We open the workpiece and see that we have formed a star with four rays.

  9. One by one we unbend the strips from each ray and glue the upper tip to the middle of the future snowflake. We do so with each ray of the star and get one part of the snowflake.

  10. Now we will make the same figure from the other sheet of the square and glue it to the back of the first detail of the snowflake. In the end, you can add sparkles, tinsel and other decorative elements that will give the snowflake an originality and brightness.

Openwork snowflake from paper with your hands - step by step instruction

This option is more difficult than the first one in manufacturing. But the result of the spent effort will please you - an openwork snowflake, which literally bewitches with its elegance and tenderness. To produce it, you need 6 squares. The more proportions you want to eventually get a snowflake, the more paper you will need. You can also make a non-standard version of such a snowflake. For example, from different sheets of colored paper or monophonic, but not white.

Necessary materials:

Main stages:

  1. Pencil and ruler mark 6 squares of the same size. We will scissor along the planned lines, so that in the end we have the necessary amount of details for the snowflake.

  2. We bend each square twice diagonally.

  3. We draw a ruler and a pencil horizontal lines. Between them, you should leave gaps of at least 0.5 cm. Also, you do not need to bring the lines to the end. Be sure to leave the indent on the left side about 1 cm.

  4. We cut our lines, but not to the end.

  5. We reveal the stock of the future snowflake.

  6. Now take the corners of the smallest inner square. We twist and glue them together.

  7. Next, turn the paper blank and do also with the following corners.

  8. We repeat the procedure with each square to the end. Do not forget to turn the workpiece every time.

  9. With the remaining squares, repeat the procedure. As a result, you should get at least 6 identical blanks, as in the photo.

  10. We take three ready-made figures and fasten them together with a stapler. Then we connect the resulting two modules together. You can also attach the side beams of a snowflake with a stapler.

  11. To keep the design better, and the snowflake itself looked more solid, fix the stapler and side beams.

  12. A ready-made snowflake can be decorated with sequins, tinsel or painted with colors. And you can leave it in its original form - it will look less effective from it!
