- eggs - 3 pieces
- white sugar - 3/4 Glass
- grated lemon peel - 11/2 Teaspoons
- fresh lemon juice - 2 Art. spoons
- grated carrots - 1 glass
- almonds - 1 glass
- flour - 1/4 Glass
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1 pinch
- powdered sugar - 3/4 Glass
- lemon juice - 1 st. a spoon
Prepare the cake mold by wiping it with vegetable oil and then lightly sprinkle with flour. Preheat the oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees C). Separate the proteins from the yolks. Mix whiskey yolks with sugar. Add the lemon juice and grated zest, carrots, almonds, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Whipped egg whites until a stiff foam and put in the dough. Pour the dough into the cake pan. Bake at a temperature of 360 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees C) for 45 minutes. This cake is often covered with a frosting of 3/4 glass of powdered sugar, whipped with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
