We cook chicken liver with apples. By-products are considered less valuable in cooking than meat, however, from such a lowly product as a chicken liver, you can cook dishes that have a unique taste. Chicken liver is softer and tender unlike pork or beef, it is prepared quickly. If you cook it in a wine sauce with apples, then the dish will be worthy of a festive table or an exquisite dinner.
Ingredients:- Chicken liver 700g
- Apple 3 pcs.
- Wine red semisweet 200 ml
- Salt 15 g
- Wheat flour 2 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 4 tbsp. l.
- Sesame White 1 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To prepare this dish, we need only 3 main ingredients: chicken liver, apples, red semisweet wine, spices are not required here, you only need salt, apple sugar, sunflower oil for frying and sesame seeds for decoration.
- Step 2 Chicken liver is washed, divide into 2 petals, cutting out the connecting film and fat.
- Step 3 Since the liver is fried fast, we need to pan the whole one at once. This is easy to do if you put the liver in a bag, pour in the flour and shake the contents. After that, the liver can immediately be spread on the pan.
- Step 4 Fry the liver lightly until the color changes.
- Step 5 Pour 2/3 glass of wine and stew the liver under the lid for no more than 10 minutes, so that the smell of alcohol disappears and the sauce thickens.
- Step 6 Apples are thoroughly washed with hot water (we will use apples with peel). We cut apples into thin slices.
- Step 7 Spread the apples in a frying pan with hot sunflower oil, sprinkle sugar on top and lightly caramelize.
- Step 8 When the apples are softened, add the remains of wine to them and bring them to the ready for another 3-4 minutes.
- Step 9 Spread the apples with a wreath on the plate, put the liver in the center, water the sauce in which it was stewed, and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds. Delicious!
