Donuts from the curd dough Unlike yeast, the curd dough kneads quickly and easily, so these donuts are prepared without problems and always work out well, a great option when the guests on the doorstep and need to cook something very delicious for dessert for tea! Instead of lemon peel, you can use orange, or just add vanilla sugar - in any case, donuts will turn out very fragrant! The structure of the dough with ready-made curd cheese donuts is just perfect!
Ingredients:- Curd 500g
- Eggs chicken 3 pcs.
- Sugar 1 tbsp.
- Baking powder 2 tsp.
- Salt 1 pinch
- Wheat flour 2.5 tbsp.
- Lemon 1 pc.
- Sunflower refined oil 200 ml
- Step 1 For the preparation of cheese donuts we will need: homemade cottage cheese, eggs, lemon, sugar, wheat flour, salt, baking powder and refined sunflower oil for frying.
- Step 2 Cottage cheese is poured into a deep bowl, we drive eggs to it.
- Step 3 Add sugar, baking powder, salt.
- Step 4 Thoroughly mix the ingredients, spreading the whisk curd, add to them a peel of one lemon, rubbed on a small grater and mix it into the dough.
- Step 5 Add the flour.
- Step 6 We knead a soft dough, which is easily formed into a ball.
- Step 7 Roll out on a board, sprinkled with flour, into a layer about 1.5 cm thick and cut out with two shapes of different diameter donuts.
- Step 8 Fry the donuts on a lightly heated frying pan in refined sunflower oil on both sides until a golden crust is obtained, so that the dough inside is roasted. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve it to the table.
