Baba - sweet pastry from yeast dough. Preparation: Dissolve the yeast in a small amount of warm milk or cream. Bring the honey in a saucepan to a boil and remove the foam. Remove the pan from the heat, add the cream, flour and gently mix. You should not get a very thick dough. Allow the dough to cool until it is warm. Add the yeast mixture and mix thoroughly. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and put in a warm place to make the dough increase in volume. Lubricate the baking molds with a softened butter and lightly sprinkle with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat the egg yolks with sugar. Add in the batter a melted and slightly chilled butter, beaten yolks and salt. Add extra flour if necessary. Well knead the dough and put it in the molds. Forms must be half filled. Bake until cooked.
