Fruit tree
One of the most creative and certainly bright ways to decorate the table for the New Year is to put a Christmas tree of fruits on it. To make it it is possible very simply from an apple, carrots and other colorful fruit components. And most importantly - it is ideally suited to the theme of the holiday.
- apple - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- pineapple - 3 mugs
- Strawberry - 10 pieces
- kiwi fruit - 1 pc
- grapes green - 30 pieces
- grapes violet - 10 pieces
- toothpicks - 1 pack
Cooking method:
- First you need to make a foundation. To do this, take the apple, cut it slightly at its base. Check that the apple is firmly on a hard surface.
- Make a small indentation in the apple, place the carrot there. It is advisable to cut not too much of the middle so that the carrots stay as strong as possible.
- Stick the toothpicks into the carrot and apple from different sides, leave about 1 cm of the distance between them. In this case, the toothpicks should not be at a right angle to the carrot. Insert them slightly upward.
- Try to place the toothpicks resembling the shape of a real Christmas tree.
- Now you need to string on the toothpicks pieces of kiwi, thus creating the foundation of the tree. Add also green grapes.
- Then start decorating the tree. You can add strawberries in chopped form or whole.
- Violet grapes should be placed on a spiral around the Christmas tree, imitating a New Year's garland.
- The rest of the fruit add to different parts of the tree, creating a beautiful color scheme.
- At the end, add the top of the tree. To do this, take a piece of pineapple or apple and cut an asterisk.
- When creating a tree, do not forget that most of it should be green, and strawberries, grapes and pineapples act as additional accents.
How to decorate a New Year's table - cauliflower lambs
- cauliflower - 1 head
- olives without pits - 10 pcs
- toothpicks - 1 pack
- salad - 2-3 leaves
- parsley - 20 g
- mayonnaise - 30 ml
Cooking method:
- Take fresh cauliflower, rinse it thoroughly and peel it from the leaves.
- Divide the cabbage into small inflorescences - they will soon become the torso of the lamb. From-cut to the very base of the pedicel of the inflorescence.
- Boil the cabbage in slightly salted water for about 5 minutes or scald it with boiling water.
- Puncture the olive with a toothpick, use a knife to make small ears in it. Paste the toothpick with olive in the inflorescence of cabbage - this is the head of the future sheep. In this case, the cabbage must remain trimmed side down.
- Add to the base 4 toothpicks - legs. You can preliminarily string on them thin pieces of black bread or leave without anything.
- Draw eye lids with mayonnaise.
- On a large dish, put the washed salad leaves, and on top place the lamb. Decorate all with chopped parsley. Your green meadow with festive lambs is ready!
