Pumpkin jam is very fragrant and tastes like a melon. To prepare jam, do not take a young pumpkin, it can boil during cooking. It is better to choose varieties of bright orange with sweet flesh. If you did everything right, you should get a fragrant transparent jam. Preparation: Cut the peel from the pumpkin and remove the seeds. Cut the flesh into large pieces. Fill the pan with water, add soda and put a pumpkin into the pan. Wait for 24 hours. Drain the water and rinse the pumpkin under a stream of cold running water. Throw in a colander. When the pumpkin dries, chop the pumpkin into small cubes. Boil syrup from water and sugar. Put hot pumpkin in hot syrup, but do not stir. Bring to a boil, remove the pan from the fire and let stand for several hours, so that the pumpkin does not boil. After that, cook the jam until cooked.
