Meat ragout

There are a lot of recipes for cooking ragout around the world. This dish appeared in Russia in the 18th century. The recipe for classic ragout can become a decoration for a table covered for any reason.


You will need:
500 grams of lamb or 400 grams of pork
2 tbsp. spoons of fat
6-8 potato tubers
2 carrot roots
1 parsley root
2 onions
2 tbsp. tablespoons tomato paste
1 tbsp. a spoon of wheat flour
salt, black ground pepper
a few peas of black pepper
Bay leaf
parsley greens.

Cooking method:
-from pork brisket chop the pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper, fry in a hot frying pan with butter;
-dry the tomatoes for a few minutes;
- Put the fry in a deep frying pan, add broth, tomatoes and simmer for about 40 minutes;
-add flour, greens, potato cubes, pepper, bay leaf, salt and bring to readiness.
