It can be used for stuffing in buns, bagels, sandwich pies and cakes, and also simply spread on a piece of bread or other baking. It turns transparent thick. You can keep this jam long enough in the fridge.
Ingredients:- Orange 2 pcs.
- Lime 0.5 pcs.
- Sugar 12 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To make orange jam in a microwave we need oranges, half lime or lemon, sugar.
- Step 2 We clean the oranges with a knife, cut the peel and white fibers, cut out the lobules. Our task is to cut as many flesh as possible without white bars.
- Step 3 Fold the orange slices into the blender bowl.
- Step 4 Whisk at high speed until a homogeneous gruel is obtained.
- Step 5 Pour the orange slurry into a container that can be placed in a microwave oven. Important: The container should be high, as the jam will go up. Pour the sugar and squeeze the juice from the half lime. Stirring.
- Step 6 Put into the microwave for 7 minutes at 800 watts. We take the bowl, stir jam.
- Step 7 Put the jam back into the microwave. Cook another 5 minutes at the same capacity. Get the jam, mix and leave to cool, stirring occasionally. After the jam has cooled down - transfer it to the jar and store it in the refrigerator.
