- olive oil - 1 st. a spoon
- medium bulbs - 2 pieces
- Dried Thyme - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Salt and ground pepper - - To taste
- pasta pappardelle or fettuccine - 250 Grams
- oil - 2 items. spoons
- Parmesan cheese - 60 Grams
In a large frying pan heat the oil over medium heat. Add onions and thyme, season with salt and pepper. Cover and fry until onions are released, about 5 minutes. Remove the lid and fry, stirring, until golden brown, from 25 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile in a large saucepan bring the salted water to a boil. When the onion is cooked for about 10 minutes, add the pasta in a saucepan and cook until cooked. Drain the water and return the pasta to the pan. Set aside 1/2 cup of liquid remaining after cooking. Add onions and butter in a saucepan to pasta, season with salt and pepper, stir. Gradually add enough water. Serve pasta with parmesan cheese.
