Most often used to observe all the products individually, but this is only if you have not tried a truly delicious and rich soup, for example, as a mushroom soup or cauliflower soup. Recipes of potato soup-mashed potatoes are endless - from the classic "Vishihoise" with leek to various variations with the addition of champignons, zucchini, cauliflower and other vegetables. Today we will cook potato soup with garlic. And for soup, we need a large head of garlic, which must first be fried, so that the garlic is soft and tender in taste. You can also bake garlic in the oven - wrap the unpeeled head in a foil and bake until the hull is lightened. As a result, garlic will give the aroma, but its characteristic smell will disappear, you will get rich and very tasty soup-puree!
Ingredients:- Potatoes 800 g
- Onion 2 pcs.
- Garlic 10 denticles
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.
- Butter 10 g
- Cream 200 ml
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Salt 2 pinch
- Parsley fresh 0.25 bunch
- Step 1 To make soup, we take potatoes, onion, middle garlic head, greens to taste, spices, vegetable oil and cream with 10-20% fat content.
- Step 2 Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
- Step 3 Peel potatoes and cut into large cubes.
- Step 4 In a saucepan with a volume of at least 2 liters, heat 2 tbsp. l. Vegetable oil and fry the onions until transparent.
- Step 5 Then add potatoes and 700-800 ml of cold boiled water. Bring everything to a boil and cook until the potatoes are ready for 20-25 minutes.
- Step 6 Peel the garlic, cut large denticles into 2-3 parts.
- Step 7 Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the garlic until golden.
- Step 8 Add the roasted garlic to the pan with the prepared potatoes and cook all together for 1-2 minutes.
- Step 9 In portions, grind the potato with onions and garlic in a blender, adding the potato broth.
- Step 10 Then pour everything into a saucepan, add the cream, salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil.
- Step 11 Remove from heat, cool a bit, serve with croutons from white or black bread, adding greens.
