- water - 1 cup
- honey - 1/2 cup
- lemon, peel - 2 pieces
- fresh lemon juice - 1/4 cup
- anise stars - 4 pieces
- cinnamon sticks - 4 pieces
- carnations - 12 pieces
- bottles of dry white wine - 2 pieces
- Orange Muscat - 1 Glass
- apple, thinly sliced - 1 Piece
- pear, thinly sliced - 1 piece
- lemon, thinly sliced - 2 pieces
- kumquats, thinly sliced - 12 pieces
Bring water, honey, lemon zest and juice, anise, cinnamon sticks and cloves to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Reduce the heat to minimum and cook for 15 minutes. To serve the cocktail cold: mix spices, wine and fruit in a jar. Cover and put in the refrigerator for the night. Serve with ice. To serve the cocktail hot: a mixture of spices and wine heat in a large saucepan over low heat. Add fruit and pour over the glasses.
