What are they like?

Salad dressing can be divided into two types. In the first, various mixtures of oil and vinegar are used. In this vinegar, you can take not only the usual table, but also apple, wine, adding various spices to it. You can also add lemon juice diluted with cold water in equal parts, or berry juice. Mix thoroughly in a deep container a glass of olive (vegetable) oil and a third of a glass of fresh lemon juice. After this, add crushed garlic (three prongs), two teaspoons of spicy mustard, and carefully mix the ingredients. Then add salt and black ground pepper to taste. The resulting mixture must be poured into a beautiful bottle and allowed to stand in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. In the recipe of this sauce for salad, you can change the composition of products, taking instead of lemon juice, wine or balsamic vinegar. You can also add crushed halved red onions and a spoonful of honey.

Home-made mayonnaise

In the recipes of some salads without mayonnaise can not do, but its purchase form contains various undesirable ingredients, and therefore it is best to cook it at home. To do this, take a deep container and beat the egg there, add a teaspoon of mustard powder and sugar, a little salt and olive oil (all you need about 225 grams). Gently beat the resulting mixture with a blender until homogeneous, and then gradually pour in half of the residual oil and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Stir for about a minute, then pour in the remaining oil and whisk until you get a thick mass. As an experiment, you can add at any stage a clove of garlic or crushed nuts.

Dietary sauce for salad

Mix 2 tsp. honey, 1 tsp. wine vinegar and 25 ml of lemon juice, season the salad. You can also use a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice in a ratio of 1 to 3, adding pepper and salt as desired. Another version of the dietary recipe for a salad dressing can be a dressing based on kefir. To do this, whisk in a blender 100 ml kefir (1%) and green onions, salt, let it brew. Instead of onions, you can add large olives and garlic.
