New Year's poster for the New Year - step by step instruction

One of the variants of the New Year's wall newspaper is a poster, drawn by own hands. Since the coming year will pass under the auspices of the monkey, we suggest that you use this animal-symbol for registration of work. Do not worry if your artistic ability is not up to par. You can always use the ready-made monkey template, which is easy to find on the net.

Necessary materials:

Main stages:

  1. To draw a poster, you need a white sheet of paper. It can be taken in any format: from A1 to A4. Determined with the size you need to think about the plot. If you do not know what to draw, then take the symbol of the coming year - a monkey. She will be the main character in the picture. You can also add other traditional heroes, including Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, snowman, etc. So, take a simple pencil and outline the future picture. Do not put too much pressure on the pencil and draw in details.

  2. Now let's start painting. First, decorate the background. To do this, take a white and blue gouache and mix both colors on the palette. You can also add a drop of office glue to this mixture, which will allow the two shades to merge properly and in the future the paint will not leave marks on the palms when you touch the finished poster.

  3. We put the paint on a white sheet of paper. Pencil drawing with a monkey and other elements is left untouched. In the course of painting, you can add more white gouache on the bottom of the picture to make it look like a snowball. Now the drawing for the New Year 2016 begins to manifest itself. We also add a little snowflakes to the blue background. To do this, take a thin brush and a jar of white gouache.

  4. It's time to put the paint on the monkey. First, we will decorate the cap with red gouache. For a three-dimensional image, you should mix this shade with blue paint on the palette. The resultant color is applied to shadow areas. For the animal's body we take all shades of gouache yellow and brown hues. You can also take red paint. With a fine brush, apply gouache to the respective places. For the outline, let's take a black tint.

  5. Now let's move on to the figures that indicate the coming year. For them, you can take a yellow, red and brownish paint. We put in the beginning yellow. Then mix it with brownish and apply to the shady places. Also we will put red gouache. As a result, we get volume figures.

  6. It remains to decorate the boxes of gifts and a large New Year's ball, which housed the figure. Take the bright shades of gouache and apply the paint on your own.

  7. On the monkey cap and in other places we will add white gouache. We apply a thin brush.

  8. In the upper right corner, add a congratulatory letter. You can first apply it with red gouache, and then add some accents to the letters with white paint.
