Pepper stuffed with meat stuffing One of the most popular summer dishes is, without a doubt, a sweet pepper stuffed with meat and rice. This is a classic option, which in each family has its own nuances. Someone just loves meat mince, someone instead of rice adds buckwheat, and some necessarily mix prepared minced meat with vegetable fry. While the summer has not ended and we have the opportunity to cook from real, ground, not greenhouse pepper, you can experiment with filling, and filling, and with the method of preparation. After all, it is not necessary to prepare a stuffed sweet pepper on the stove. You can put it in a large ceramic pot and stew it in the oven under the lid. Usually filled "cups" are put in a pan vertically. In this case, it is possible to insert pieces of peeled potatoes and a head of onion between the lower narrow ends. So you get one more special tasty dish, and you can easily determine whether the pepper is ready: if the potatoes are ready, then it's time to remove the pan from the fire. The taste of this delicious dish is almost independent of the color of the pepper, but on a dish placed in the center of the festive table, a kaleidoscope of colorful green, yellow, orange and red peppers looks much more appetizing.
Ingredients:- Pepper sweet 8 pcs.
- Pork forcemeat 500 g
- Long grain rice 0.5 tbsp.
- Carrot 2 pcs.
- Onions 1 pc.
- Tomato juice 1 l
- Sour cream 3 tbsp. l.
- Pepper black ground 3 pinch
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.
- Salt 3 pinch
- Step 1 To prepare the pepper, it is better to take the medium and approximately the same size. You will also need minced meat, onions, carrots, rice, ready tomato juice and spices.
- Step 2 Onion and carrots peeled, chop the onions finely, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
- Step 3 Preheat 2-3 tablespoons in a frying pan. l. Vegetable oil and fry the onions with carrots until golden brown.
- Step 4 0.5 a glass of rice well rinse, pour a glass of cold water, bring to a boil and cook until ready 15-20 minutes, adding salt.
- Step 5 Sweet pepper to wash and remove the seeds, taking care not to damage the sides of the pepper.
- Step 6 In the mince add the cooked roast, boiled rice, a pinch of salt and black ground pepper. The ratio of rice and ground beef should be approximately 1: 3.
- Step 7 Mix thoroughly.
- Step 8 In the cooked peppers tightly lay the stuffing.
- Step 9 Put the peppers in a large container and then add the tomato juice and sour cream (pre-mix the sour cream in a small amount of juice, so that it is evenly distributed).
- Step 10 Bring everything to the boil and cook for 35-45 minutes from the moment of boiling over a slow fire under the lid. During the preparation, add salt and pepper to taste.
