Vanilla bagels

Vanillekipferl (in the literal translation - vanilla rolls) - a very curious traditional ro. Ingredients: Instructions

Vanillekipferl (literally translated - vanilla rolls) - a very curious traditional Christmas recipe, popular in Austria - and the Austrians in baking know. This recipe produces an incredibly tasty, soft and crumbly, literally melting cookie in your mouth. Interestingly, the cookie is not at all difficult to prepare - it takes literally 10-15 minutes, the rest of the time either the dough is in the refrigerator or the biscuits are baked. Recipe for vanilla bagels: 1. Oil rub on a large grater and add to the flour. We rub into a crumb. Add vanillin and sugar powder, mix well. Add the almond flour to the mixture. We stir again. 2. Whisk the egg with rum. Mix the flour and egg mass, quickly knead the dough. 3. The resulting dough rolled into a ball, wrapped in a food film - and in the refrigerator for 2 hours. 4. We take the dough from the refrigerator, on a work surface sprinkled with flour, into a long strip about 1.5 cm thick. Turn on the oven, warm up to 180 degrees. 5. Cut our dough into strips with a thickness of about 1-1.5 cm. We form the bagels. Do not make the edges too thin - otherwise they will burn. We put the bagels on a baking sheet, covered with baking paper, and bake for 10-15 minutes. 6. Finished cookies should not be too brown, it should remain a little pale. Cool it, then generously sprinkle with powdered sugar. Done!
