1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it becomes hot. Do not boil! Pour the milk into a large bowl and add the melted butter, brown sugar, salt and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture has cooled to room temperature. 2. Add eggs, flour, salt and yeast and mix everything together. If there are several lumps, this is normal. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and a clean kitchen towel and leave to rise for 1-1 1/2 hours. You can immediately cook the waffles at this point or put the dough in the refrigerator for the night. Take the dough out of the refrigerator an hour before the start of cooking. Stir the dough and let it warm to room temperature. 3. Heat the waffle iron and sprinkle with oil in the spray. Add 1 1/2 cups of dough (depending on the size of your waffle iron) and cook the waffles until golden. Repeat with the remaining test. Serve wafers with a slice of butter, syrup or slices of bananas.
