Chef for the kid

So, the most difficult, according to many parents, time passed - the first six months of a child's life. Left behind were sleepless nights, endless colic in the tummy, the constant wearing of a precious burden on hands, which was getting heavier every minute, massages, drinking with a planktex ... The short hours of rest that appeared after these events seemed seconds. But here the difficult period of infantile colic has passed, the kid has grown up, became calmer, no longer so screams the whole family ... Someone decided that you can relax? - And here and in vain! There comes a time of introduction in the diet of the baby complementary food, expanding the "culinary horizons" of the child. So a round-the-clock (or about that) kitchen is provided for you at a time when the child learns to eat on his own.

It seems there is nothing easier: the necessary products are cooked, wiped through a sieve or crushed with a blender, we feed the baby. But every mom is bound to face another problem: what foods to choose for complementary foods?

We choose the best.

If you want to give the baby the really best and healthy food, the surest (though not the simplest) way is vegetables from your garden. You will be sure that carrots, cabbage, potatoes from their own garden are grown without the slightest admixture of "chemistry", so they will not cause any harm to the child. If you do not have an auxiliary farm, try to find out where the products of agro-industrial complexes located in your locality are sold nearby. Folk wisdom "Where was born, there and handy" in this case is fairer than ever.

Try not to buy imported cauliflower, zucchini, etc. in winter, which, despite their beautiful appearance, hardly contain any useful substances. We are not told - everything has its own time: in these "off-season" products there are certainly preservatives that allow to increase the shelf life and preserve the product appearance.

Puree.

For cooking puree choose the freshest and beautiful vegetables. The fruits should not have any points, dents and other defects. The first lure, as a rule, consists of vegetables that do not contain coarse fiber: carrots, cauliflower, zucchini. The very first vegetable lure should be monocomponent. The mixture can be offered when the baby has already tried all the ingredients separately. Of course, vegetables need to be washed well, you can scald for a short time in a colander.

The most important thing in lure is a soft, even consistency, otherwise the child, not accustomed to solid food, simply will not eat the proposed dish. You can achieve this texture if you use a universal blender like MixSy, which in a matter of seconds, besides without excessive noise, will cook a mashed potatoes, the consistency of which is comparable to the canned "brothers".

Porridge.

Gradually, you need to introduce different porridges into the baby's diet. Remember: the first cereals that you can try a child are rice or buckwheat. Any cereal should be crushed thoroughly in a coffee grinder, the flour obtained should be put in boiling water and not cook until ready, but leave to swell. For such cooking dishes such as a tie-breaker are ideal: thanks to a special formula of metal and a particularly thick bottom, the porridge in it is prepared as in a real Russian oven, resulting in a soft, monotonous consistency. The kasha for the first complementary meal should be liquid: a teaspoon of cereal flour per 100 ml of water. After 1-2 weeks, you can double the amount of cereals. Oatmeal, mango and other types of cereals containing gluten can be gradually introduced into the ration of the child from 10 months of age, carefully monitoring the child's condition: these cereals are quite difficult to digest by the body, and in some cases are generally contraindicated to the child.

In general, porridge is recommended to offer the baby after vegetables and meat, tk. many croups contain phytin, which binds calcium salts, as a result of which this vital element enters the blood more slowly.

Meat.

Meat products are included in the diet of most adults. An animal protein and a child are needed for full development. However, the meat is most difficult to introduce into the lure; long absorbed by the body of the child. If you continue to breastfeed, do not rush with meat lures.

The first sample of a meat dish should be offered almost in a homeopathic dose - half a teaspoonful. It is better to stir this portion in a vegetable puree, with which the baby is already familiar enough and follow the reaction. The heaviest foods can make you remember the attacks of colic in a baby, so do not rush to part with natural antispasmodics such as planktex, they will help to remove colic caused by a change in diet. If the meat does not cause digestion disorders or allergic reactions, you can just gradually increase its amount. For the first complementary food, it is better to choose rabbit, lamb or turkey meat. Such types of meat, as veal, pork, chicken, are introduced into the diet after a year. In 10 months the child can cook meatballs, and after a year - steam cutlets.

Similarly, gradually, in the diet of the baby are introduced and other products: cottage cheese, fruit juices, bread. The most important thing to remember: the first time any lure is given in the lowest dose, each dish should have a perfectly even consistency. To store or warm up the food prepared for the baby is not necessary ... Many hours it is necessary for mum to spend in the kitchen while the child does not learn to eat "adult" food. But after all, right now we are laying the foundation for the child's health for the whole life - that's why the role of the chefs of the health of our beloved kids is absolutely not burdensome!
