Office intrigue - there is no such section in the Labor Code, but in the labor process there are - more than enough. You come to work early, do not touch anyone. You make business letters. Trying for the good of the company. In the break, a colleague treats his tea. And then one day you are summoned to the carpet. You see, and there you let you down, and there you missed, and there they sold to competitors! Where does all this delirious misinformation come from ?! It turns out that the same colleague complained in the smoking room another, she told the office manager, she told the boss ... Office intrigues in the native team are old, like the world. Of course, they are no longer as bloody as those at the court in medieval Madrid, but no less inventive ...

How to develop office intrigues. There are quite trivial intrigues "for five cents": complain about being late, let the rumor about someone's private life, spoil the mood whispering behind your back or get to the computer and kill someone else's file. Such things can quickly be exposed and stopped. But if the importance of the case is measured in thousands of "cu", and for it are experienced "gray cardinals" ... They accurately address and dispense nasty gossip, while remaining in the shadows, they throw up impossible tasks, they make a victim " black PR "so that it turns out that it involved many employees. Who themselves do not suspect that their malevolence and talkativeness made themselves pawns in someone else's dirty game ...

Who needs office intrigues. To begin with, people can thus fight for very real things: material benefits, promotion - just these are comrades who do not know how to achieve their goals differently, honestly. Moreover, the intriguer always looks like a trickery against himself. So he begins to attack first, thinking that he is defending ... And one more important point: very much in the created situation depends on the leadership. Where the boss severely suppresses "undercover games," they do not get development. But short-sighted directors close their eyes to this. And some even encourage the disassembly between subordinates: they think that this is evidence of healthy competition. In fact, when "the steam engine takes all the steam to the whistles", the productivity of the team only decreases ... Plus, the difficult situation, which normal workers simply can not stand - and valuable personnel leave the "hornet's nest".

How not to become a victim of office intrigue. Surely you are not one of those who are able to achieve their blows in the back. Be always open in professional communication. At any opportunity, it is better to discuss business matters publicly, collectively. In personal matters, it is better to be as restrained as possible. Even if a colleague seems nice and sympathetic to you, you should not devote her to your intimate problems. And even more so - succumb to the temptation to discuss in the smoking room the intimate problems of the secretary or the headmistress. All this can be used against you. Try to keep your affairs in order.

When you have everything going according to plan and performed on the highest ball, there is nothing to complain about. If you still made a mistake, you do not need to hide it. Explaining the situation on your own, you will look better than if your "secret flaw" whoever be exposed. And it is better not to ask colleagues "to help cover up the tracks."
