The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the International Legal Instrument, which guarantees the rights of children. It combines the high socio-moral and legal norms of the international standard and the pedagogical basis for communication between adults and children.
Rights of the child
The protection of the rights of the child in the kindergarten is basically that it should not be physically or emotionally pressured. Such influence leads to a delay in the development of the personality, individuality. The child should not be subjected to constant criticism, threats and remarks from the staff of the children's institution, expressed in a form that degrades self-esteem and suppresses the person.
The child is a very vulnerable creature. Every event that happens to him leaves a definite mark on his soul. It should be remembered that children are equal partners. They trust adults, love them, they are distinguished by the purity of their souls and spontaneity.
Preschool is the advocate of the rights and interests of children.
Children should familiarize themselves with their rights already in the kindergarten in order to be ready for an adult independent life.
Each child has the right to respect, should not be offended and despicable.
The work of educators and psychologists of the kindergarten is aimed at creating a comfortable stay of preschool children in a children's institution, developing their creative abilities, protecting their health, nutrition and successful physical and emotional development.
Small citizens in kindergarten are taught to understand and respect each other, freely communicate with each other, using their right to free communication. During communication, speech and creative skills develop, personal qualities that determine moral behavior, feelings of respect and friendship are cultivated.
Every child has the right to life and name. To draw the child's attention to his personality, to develop a sense of individuality, of his own importance in society is one of the main tasks of kindergarten teachers, where each child is treated with respect and considered with his rights.
The greatest wealth of our children is their health. Every small visitor to a pre-school institution has the right to health care and to receive, if necessary, medical care.
A child in kindergarten has the right to develop physical and creative abilities and protection of this right in the hands of caregivers who day by day patiently and persistently help children learn the skills of drawing, modeling, develop dance and vocal abilities.
Adhering to a humane approach to the upbringing of children, the role of the pedagogical collective of the kindergarten is of great importance in protecting the rights of the child.
Protection of the rights of each child should be manifested in the following cases:
- does not ensure the safety of his health and life
- his needs are ignored
- in relation to the child there are cases of violence or humiliation
- violation of the inviolability of the child
- The child is isolated and intimidated
- the child is not given the opportunity to express his thoughts and feelings
- child manipulation and use
- personal belongings of the child are inviolable.
These listed rights of the child should be protected and not violated in any children's preschool institution, which is visited by a small resident of our country.
Each child is a small man with his rights, which must necessarily be observed by adults.
For a full-fledged education and development of the child, it is necessary to create an appropriate atmosphere in the kindergarten.
Remember that the child will respect the rights of others if they respect the rights of the child.
