To develop logical thinking of the child

Why do some children grasp knowledge literally on the fly, while others need to repeat the same thing many times? What determines the logical thinking and level of intelligence of the child? From the speed of thinking, the ability to reason logically, to solve problems in different areas, to study and analyze new material. As a rule, such makings are determined genetically. Scientists believe that on the heredity level, 70% of the child's abilities are allocated on average. But this does not mean that they can not be developed. After all, the remaining 30% remain at our disposal! So how can you develop logical thinking to a child?

MEMORY LOOP

What kind of parent does not want to ease the child's school life. So what can we do for young geniuses? First of all, teach them to use the reserves of their own memory.

Nature has rewarded people with the greatest gift - the ability to remember. There are four types of memory:

✓ Visual-shaped (facilitates memorization of faces, colors, shapes, visual images);

✓ verbal-logical (helps to assimilate and consolidate the information heard);

✓ motor (memory of movements);

✓ emotional (allows you to capture feelings, experiences and related events).

To achieve the best result when learning a new material for schoolchildren it would be nice to be able to use all four types of memory at the same time. But how to achieve this?

Mechanical memory is the most unreliable thing. If you do not build logical connections in your head, you can repeat the same dozens of times, but the next day from the learned there will be no trace. To remember any information, it is necessary to find the meaning, to isolate the main thing. Teenagers already have a decent supply of knowledge and experience, so they will not be difficult to draw parallels with images, events, facts already stored in the head, and look for associations. Also, advise the child to listen to their feelings. Ask him: "What do you feel when you hear about it?" At least one association from a whole range of emotions is bound to come to the rescue. The next day, in a week the child will be much easier to recall this or that information.

To "revive" images, it is useful to draw them. The more unusual the illustration becomes, the stronger the object will settle in the memory. Remember the first alphabets, according to which the children got acquainted with the alphabet. In many of them, letters are depicted in the form of animals and objects. This allows you to build associations and thanks to them to quickly memorize the letter. The same method can be used and older guys. For example, to each quatrain or paragraph of the textbook in a notebook, suggest a small notation, a funny drawing. Such a tip can be very useful.

It's not so difficult to learn to remember dates. To do this, important but stubborn numbers need to be logically linked to figures that "surround" us in everyday life: house number, apartment, date of birth of relatives, floor, telephone and so on. Any non-standard form of presenting the material is remembered more easily than the dry facts. For example, almost all of us took out from childhood the phrase "Every hunter wants to know where the pheasant is sitting" and is still focusing on it, remembering the colors of the rainbow. And when it comes to cases, everyone immediately automatically recalls the rhyme told by the teacher of the Russian language: "Ivan gave birth to a girl, ordered to carry a diaper", where Ivan is the nominative case, etc.

Another important detail. When you ask a student to memorize something, try to create the right motivation for him, for example: the multiplication table will be needed every day, because it's so insulting when you are cheated in the store. Or: any girl will like a young man who knows Shakespeare's sonnets by heart. Think of a version that will impress the child, will interest him.

WORLD AT YOUR FEET

To help the child mobilize logical thinking, adults need to take care of his all-round development. It turns out that racing is also important! Physical development is directly related to mental abilities. An important role is played by nutrition. The lack of vitamins and trace elements lowers the IQ! Quiet environment in the family, friendly climate in the school improve the state of the nervous system and increase the child's ability to perceive the new. Create a fertile learning environment for your child is not too difficult. In addition to the school curriculum, there are many interesting and useful lessons for intellectual development. Give a teenager a good book, invite him to the theater, invite him to go on a trip to the Golden Ring, ask him to help with advice in a difficult situation. The purpose of parents is to reveal the Person in a person!

DEVELOPING, PLAYING

There is an unimaginable number of games that can develop a child's logical thinking. Recently my daughter was given a giant family quiz for her birthday, which can be played at any age - from 6 to 99 years. They played the whole family for several days in a row and were completely delighted! Everybody has brought something new for himself. You can come up with a lot of games, and without using additional equipment. Perfectly develops the memory of the simplest game "piggy bank." The more a person participates, the more interesting it is to play. The first player calls any word, his neighbor adds his own, and so on in a circle. For example: I put a coin in the coin box. And I put a coin and a house in the coin box. And I put a coin, a house and a fork in the coin box. Drops the one who will be the first to break down. The winner gets a prize! Everyone knows the game played by many generations in the cities. In addition to the obvious benefits for the development of memory and erudition, it also helps to have a great time. It is also useful for development and such an exciting activity, like solving puzzles and intellectual tests.

IS YOUR CHILD DEVELOPED WITH LOGICAL THINKING?

Give the child a piece of paper and a pencil and explain that you want to see how he remembers the words: "I will speak, and you quickly draw a picture to each word." The main thing is that it resembles a word. For memorizing, 10-12 words and phrases are offered: truck, smart cat, dark forest, day, fun game, frost, moody child, good weather, strong man, punishment, interesting fairy tale. Each next word is spoken when the first drawing is ready. Explain that you need a picture that resembles a word, not a reproducing object. After completing the tasks, take the drawings. After an hour and a half, showing each of the drawings, ask for what he said. If the child does not remember correctly, ask questions. Not understanding the meaning of the test in the process of drawing forgets the given word. At the same time, drawings are large and detailed. The ability to use psychological means in such children is not sufficiently developed. At the age of six, sometimes the child draws and remembers the word, but later can not reproduce it. Such a level is acceptable if there are at least six months left before entering school. Use assignments to develop the abilities of the future student. If there is only one or two months to study, he may have difficulty remembering the material. The child must distinguish the word from the object that designates it. Ask him to answer the question: "Which word is longer: a pencil - a pencil, a worm - a snake, a mustache, a cat - a kitten?" Before the task, be sure to explain that the word is not a thing. It can be written, but not eaten, moved, touched. If the baby does not distinguish between the word and the object, then he will choose according to visual representations (the snake is longer than the worm). A normally developed child usually gives the right answer. He can explain that in the word "more letters".
