- apple - 4 pieces
- sugar - 1/4 Glass
- flour - 1/4 Glass
- cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- lemon juice - 1 st. a spoon
- crackers - 3/4 Cups (7 crackers)
- oat flakes - 1/4 Cups
- pecans - 1/4 Cups
- golden brown sugar - 2/3 Cups
- cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- ginger - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoons
- salt - 1/4 teaspoons
- chopstick butter - 1 Piece
1. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees. Peel apples, peel and cut into slices. Butter the butter and cut into cubes. In a large bowl combine apples, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon starch and lemon juice, mix well. 2. Put the apple mixture in a glass baking dish. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. 3. Meanwhile add the crackers to the food processor and grind to the consistency of a large crumb to get about 3/4 cup crumbs. In a bowl combine crumbs, oat flakes, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl. 4. Add the butter, mix the mixture with your fingers. 5. Sprinkle the resulting mixture of baked apples and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until the apple filling begins to boil. Cover with foil if the tip browns too fast. 6. Let the dessert cool for about 10 minutes and serve.
